The Virgo Solar Eclipse Moon Is Asking “Are You Ready to Do the Opposite?”

In the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once, each character had to do something strange, even absurd, to jump (or collapse) into another timeline. As someone who deeply believes in reincarnation, quantum leaping, and multiple timelines, I was fascinated by the movie — but at first, those “weird actions” felt like they were making a mockery of something I hold sacred.

It wasn’t until I went through another level of spiritual awakening and integration that I realized the truth hidden in plain sight: to shift timelines, you have to disrupt the pattern. As Albert Einstein famously said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” In the film, the characters fight fire with fire — or better yet, insanity with insanity — to leap into a new reality.

Now, I’m not suggesting you run through your office eating something wild and screaming from the rooftop (although it did work for Jerry Maguire in the end). What I am suggesting is this: when you want to level up, start by doing the opposite of what you normally would. If you usually overthink and try to control the outcome, surrender it to the divine. If you typically operate from survival mode, regulate your nervous system and choose faith over fear. When your aligned self would choose option “A,” don’t just slide into “B.” No — you leap radically into “Z.” That’s how you collapse a timeline.

Of course, all of this is easier said than done. Radical acts and small, consistent choices often work together before full alignment arrives. As I always say, divine timing is alignment — and sometimes alignment takes time. But the Universe doesn’t leave us to figure it out alone. Right now, for example, we’re moving through a powerful, energetic support system: the Pisces/Virgo eclipse season.

Today, we experience the polarity of closing out the Pisces Lunar Eclipse from September 7 and stepping into the Partial Solar Eclipse New Moon in Virgo at 3:53 PM. Normally, a new moon is ripe for fresh intentions, but because this one is an eclipse conjunct the south node, it calls us first into pause, reflection, and release. It’s an invitation to let go of what no longer serves so we can integrate flow and form, trust and action, surrender and strength. Pisces, a water sign, represents the spirit realm; Virgo, an earth sign, represents the physical. Together they remind us: as within, so without — manifestation.

With the south and north nodes in Virgo and Pisces, the Universe is asking us collectively to release perfectionism, overthinking, and survival-mode habits of “I have to do it all.” The truth is, just like faith without works is dead, works without faith only get you so far. Manifestation requires both vision (action) and co-creation with the Universe, your higher self, and your soul (faith). And don’t forget the body — because if the spirit conceives it, the body is where it’s received.

This is why nervous system regulation is the secret key to manifestation. When the body feels safe, it expands its capacity to hold your dream. You feel worthy of your desires. You trust the process. Virgo rules the nervous system and digestion, so fears, overwhelm, or doubt may creep up during this eclipse portal — but that’s not to block you, it’s to be acknowledged, healed, transmuted, and alchemized.

Over the next six months, this process can bring you into radical alignment — where you no longer live by fate, but by destiny. If you have Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces placements between 25–30 degrees, you’ll feel this energy intensely. And if your north or south nodes are in Virgo or Pisces, the Universe is personally calling you into the next phase of your soul contract.

Like the movie reminded us — sometimes the leap into your destined timeline looks radical, illogical, maybe even insane. But that’s the very thing that opens the door to the life your soul has been waiting to live.

Reflection and Journaling

Eclipses aren’t just cosmic events; they’re invitations to pause, reset, and go inward. Writing is one of the most powerful ways to ground eclipse energy into your daily life, and with Virgo ruling over words, nervous system regulation, and integration, journaling becomes a sacred practice during this time. Here are two prompts to help you delve into this Virgo New Moon energy.

Virgo Eclipse Insight: Breaking the Pattern

This eclipse illuminates where perfectionism and fear create cycles that keep you stuck. Virgo asks you to recognize the repetitive loops that no longer serve you and to dare to take a radical opposite action that shifts your path.

Journal Prompt: Where in my life am I still repeating cycles that no longer serve me, and what opposite action could I take to collapse that pattern?

Virgo Eclipse Insight: Embodied Worthiness

Manifestation requires your body to feel safe enough to receive. Virgo reminds us that nervous system regulation is how we expand our capacity, strengthen our faith, and embody the truth that we are worthy of what we desire.

Journal Prompt: What practices help me feel safe, worthy, and ready to hold the reality of my dreams in my body?
